THE BAND
Formed somewhere around 2013, the Bits' Brian Swaaley, Jon Grubman, Paul Bednarz and Harris Brenner, disillusioned with their office jobs, inspired by roast chicken and benzos, sought salvation in a rehearsal space above a Brooklyn Gentlemen's Club. The Bits, drawing influence from punk rock, blues, rockabilly, psychedelia, surf rock, Leonard Cohen and others, create an eclectic mix of high energy catchy songs. Over infectious grooves, meaty riffs and memorable hooks, The Bits cross genres to illuminate the mundane.
